Description
Fuel nozzle swivel EA075.0
The EA 075 rotary coupling enables 360 - degree hose rotation and is widely used in ZVA filling nozzles and their equivalents at petrol stations. One of its key functions is to prevent the hose from bending and twisting during the winding or unwinding process.
There are different models of the EA 075 coupling. The EA 075.0 coupling has an external (male) thread. The EA 075.1 coupling has an internal (female) thread of 1" (25 mm), and the EA 075.4 coupling has an internal (female) thread of 3/4".
The EA 075.0 rotary coupling allows for 360 - degree hose rotation and is actively employed in ZVA filling nozzles at petrol stations. It also helps prevent the hose from bending and twisting when winding or unwinding.
The EA 075.1 axial rotary coupling is designed to connect ZVA Slim Line 2 and similar dispensing taps to a pressure hose fitted with a connecting fitting. As an axial rotary coupling, its main purpose is to ensure user - friendliness and prevent the hose from getting tangled.
Design of EA 075.1
The coupling is a serviceable unit. Let's examine its structure starting from the pressure hose side. The lower part of the coupling is a connecting part with an internal thread of 25 mm (1 ″) in diameter. In its upper part, there is a guide that determines the axis of rotation of the coupling. After that, a sealing and distance ring EU 081 is installed. The connection is sealed with an oil - and - petrol - resistant (MBS) ED 079 gland, which is compressed by an EF 080 spring. Then, the mating part of the rotary coupling is used to enclose the assembly. The mating part of the coupling is equipped with an external thread of 32 mm (1 1/4 ″) in diameter. This part is fixed to the rotary axis with the EC 183.1 stopper. The joint between the dispensing valve and the rotary coupling is sealed using the EO 177 sealing ring.
